Born in British Columbia in 1961, Jeff Goodman started his glass career quite unintentionally when he applied to Ontario's Sheridan College's furniture program. It was there that he fortunately decided to try his hand at glass blowing. He quickly became intrigued with the medium and decided to pursue this new direction in glass. He finished the program in two years and went on to complete a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, where his professors voted him outstanding student of the year.
Jeff is quickly achieving a renowned and widespread reputation having been featured in publications such as In Style, and New York Magazine. His work was also included in the Hollywood movie Three to Tango. This is not surprising since his work is modern and classic, incorporating the delicacy of glass and the roughness of urban materials such as raw steel.
